ISS (International Superyacht Society), MIASF (Marine Industry Association of South Florida), Show Management, SeaKeepers and SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association) are pleased to announce that by working in tandem, their united effort is resulting in various date changes for events long fixtures of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

This year’s event will be held from June 7-9. Last year’s winner, BMT Nigel Gee will return to defend their title. With eight boats already confirmed, 12 to 15 are expected. Racers convene in Hamble on the evening of June 7th, spend the night on June 8th in Cowes and conclude racing on June 9th. Participating companies will rent one-design boats from Fairview and crew them with staff, vendors and clients.

The International Superyacht Society (ISS) today announces its chairs and panelists for YachtInfo at Antibes Yacht Show 2013. The event on Friday 19 April from 09:00 to 17:30 includes six hour-long seminars with a light breakfast at 08:45 and refreshments throughout the day.

Each year at this time ISS members vote for the Board of Directors of the International Superyacht Society.

Due to ratified changes to the Society's Bylaws in 2011, twenty-four (24) elected Board members will serve three-year terms, with  eight (8) being elected annually. This election continues the transition to the new structure; therefore eight (8) Board positions will be filled for three years to those with the highest number of membership votes; two (2) directors will stand for one-year terms and may re-stand next year if they choose.

Please be reminded that all candidates have been nominated by their peers, a privilege of ISS membership.
