Colin Kiley, Chief Revenue Officer at Bradford Maine, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role with Bradford. Directly before joining Bradford, Colin led sales, marketing, business development, and logistics, driving growth and profitability as COO and Executive Vice President at Lauderdale Marine Center for The Carlyle Group, eventually concluding in the sale to Safe Harbor Marinas.

Colin’s marine industry experience has developed over 50 years of being on the water. His years of experience have included racing sailing yachts on the world stage, founding and leading international businesses in the service and manufacturing sector of the yachting industry, and eventually the growth and development of some of the leading shipyards in the United States.

After studying mechanical engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans, Colin went on to complete his design certification at the Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design. Colin then completed his AB Seaman, Lifeboatman, and Tankerman certifications before gaining his USCG Captains license. After completing trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic crossings, Colin went on to study at the Divers Institute of Technology to take his love of the sea below the surface, working in the oil fields of the Gulf of Mexico. After returning to a shore-based position to raise his family, Colin completed his Project Management Certification at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and completed courses at the Program of Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Colin’s love for nature and the outdoors coupled with his work experience brought him opportunities outside of the marine industry, where he has had a principal role in a number of real estate developments totaling over 800 acres in Western North Carolina. He loves to spend as much time with his family in the woods or on the water as possible. He enjoys traveling, hiking, white water kayaking and most any activity on the water.

One of Colin’s greatest passions is the preservation of our environment and waterways. He has initiated a partnership between Bradford and the International Seakeepers Society as the first sustainability partner, developing ‘green’ standards for marinas and shipyards.
